Massive Turnout at Inauguration of Congress Candidate Irfan Qureshi’s Election Office in Ward 119

MLA Rafiq Khan and PCC Secretary Imran Qureshi Inaugurate Election Office; Campaign Gets Fresh Momentum

A large gathering of senior citizens, local residents, Congress workers, youth and supporters marked the inauguration of the main election office of Congress candidate Irfan Qureshi in Ward No. 119 of Jaipur’s Adarsh Nagar Assembly constituency. The office was formally inaugurated by MLA Rafiq Khan and Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary Imran Qureshi.

The inauguration gave fresh momentum and energy to the Congress election campaign in the ward. Addressing party workers and supporters, MLA Rafiq Khan called for unity and urged them to take the election campaign forward effectively. He said that direct communication with the public and giving priority to issues related to the development of the area would remain important aspects of the campaign. PCC Secretary Imran Qureshi, while addressing the large gathering of senior citizens and youth, said that everyone must work together to strengthen the Congress party.

Claiming that the Congress wave is sweeping Jaipur, he expressed confidence that the Congress would form the board in the Jaipur Municipal Corporation. He said the party had worked for the welfare of every section of society and would continue to do so. Imran Qureshi appealed to the people of Ward 119 to ensure a massive victory for Congress candidate Irfan Qureshi and send him to the Municipal Corporation. He also called for unity among local residents and urged them to prevent the division of votes. Congress candidate Irfan Qureshi said that his priority would be the overall development of the ward, better basic amenities, cleanliness, roads, street-lighting facilities and prompt resolution of public grievances. He said he would remain

continuously accessible to the residents and give the highest priority to public service while working for development by taking every section of society along. Naeemuddin Qureshi, State President of All India Jamiat-ul-Quraish, said that there was considerable enthusiasm among the youth regarding the election. He said young people were actively participating in the public outreach campaign in support of Irfan Qureshi. He added that the energy and active participation of the youth would strengthen the campaign and help address development and public-interest issues in the ward more effectively. Various speakers at the event highlighted the important role of youth in the development of the ward. They said efforts would be made to provide young people with better opportunities in employment, education and sports. Former member of the Rajasthan Minority Finance and Development Commission Asrar Qureshi appealed to voters to ensure a resounding victory for Congress candidate Irfan Qureshi. He said Congress had provided an opportunity to the youth and that young people could play an important role in the overall development of the area. He also appealed to members of the community to remain united and strengthen the Congress party. Senior social worker and businessman Chhuttan Qureshi, Sadar of Jamaat Khana Quraishiyan Abdul Hafeez, President of Jama Masjid Committee Shabbir Mohammadi, senior advocate Zahoor Naqvi, advocates Subhan Khan and Aleemuddin Qureshi, Haji Naeemuddin Qureshi, Sikandar Niazi, Shujauddin Qureshi alias Munna Bhai, along with a large number of senior citizens and local residents, were present on the occasion.

Intensive Door-to-Door Campaign Launched

Following the inauguration of the main election office, Congress workers and supporters resolved to intensify the public outreach campaign across various parts of Ward 119 and take the party’s public-welfare policies and development agenda to every household. Senior citizens, local residents and youth also conducted intensive door-to-door campaigning across different neighbourhoods of the ward and appealed to voters to extend their support and cast their votes in favour of Congress candidate Irfan Qureshi.
